Perfecting portfoliosWhen it comes to presenting the perfect
portfolio for clients, Old Mutual Investment Group is tops!

What Portfolios are on offer?

Old Mutual Investment Group Namibia offers 2 key portfolios well suited to a variety of clients. These portfolios are the Core Equity and Fixed Income Portfolios. With over 20 years of asset management experience, this is the investment partner of choice.
What is Core Equity Portfolio?

Equity portfolios are designed to form the core of a client’s investment strategy. The aim is to deliver steady, consistent returns in excess of equity benchmarks or peer group performance, while maintaining a moderate risk profile. This is achieved through the fund managers’ ability to select shares they believe will deliver value to clients over time.

Our belief is that the market does undervalue shares at times. Our portfolio managers seek to invest in those shares and sectors of the market that are underpriced relative to their prospects. These opportunities are pinpointed through in-depth, bottom-up company analysis. Once these shares have been selected, the fund managers construct portfolios using a variety of risk analysis tools.

What is the Fixed Income Portfolio?

Our fixed interest solutions range from conservative to aggressive portfolios, designed to meet clients’ various income-generation needs. The fund managers aim for exceptional performance by identifying long-term investment trends in the fixed income markets, while also capitalising on shorter-term trading opportunities.

The fund managers understand the fundamentals that drive interest rates through the disciplined analysis of economic and price information. Based on their analysis, they take focused risk positions. The aim is to balance a rigorous, quantitative approach with skilled qualitative portfolio construction techniques across a wide variety of fixed-interest products.
